From Jakarta we can choose 2 (two) docks for public transportation, at Marina Ancol dock or Kaliadem, Muara Angke with a destination to Kelapa island or Harapan Island with distance of about 1.5 hours by speed boat and 3 hours by boat fery or rent ship the designation of the local community.
Or if you want more easily can use tourist services or tour operator Pulau Seribu is widely available. But if you go alone to the Dolphin Island you must rent a cruise ship on the local island, to support snorkeling activities, roaming the island and leaning to the beach Dolphin Island. Rental prices range from 400,000 to 500,000 rupiah for a capacity under 20 people.
By using a cruise ship, less than half an hour you can see close and even directly leaned to the shore. On Dolphin Island there is no proper dock for the boats to lean and lower passengers. Each boat must go straight in and tether its body by the beach.
To visit this Dolphin Island do not forget to bring enough self-protection equipment, such as light medicines, gloves, flashlights with spare batteries, jackets, whistles, and other adequate camping equipmen.
